Where History Meets Nature! (4-to-go)

Take a trek along hidden trails on an adventure hike from King Albert Park to Clementi. You’ll be expertly guided off-the-beaten-track through lush forest lining the forgotten old Jurong railway line that leads to Clementi with some excellent vintage photo opportunities at an abandoned railway station, unused tunnel and rusty old bridges. On arrival, sit back and enjoy a well earned meal and upload your photos to share with friends.

What can I expect?
Discover remnants of days gone by on a guided, historical hike through the untouched Clementi Forest. Your approximately five hour hike takes you through lush forest lining the forgotten old Jurong railway line that leads to Clementi with some excellent vintage photo opportunities at an abandoned railway station, unused tunnel and old bridges.

Who is my host?
Your host, Ching Khee/ Leong Hai/ Seow Woon enjoys trekking and likes to introduce the joy of trekking with nature to more people!

What should I bring?
Pack light as the start and ending point are different.
Bring caps or hats, snacks, 1.5L of water, a good pair of walking shoes
Hiking Pole, umbrella/ Poncho/ Raincoat, sunblock, insect repellent
Personal ear-piece for audio and change of attire if you like to change into dry clothing during meal time/ after the tour. A light shoe/ sandals if you like to change during meal time/ after the tour and a personal simple first aid kit like plasters, personal medications.

Any age restrictions?
No however this tour is not recommended for expectant mothers and disabled guests, take extra care when bringing children as they will have to walk for most of the time.

Group size?
To ensure everyone gets our undivided attention, groups are of the ratio 8 Participants : 1 Facilitator. This is a minimum 4-to-go tour and any bookings less than 4 will be cancelled.

What else to take note?
Avoid alcohol before and on the walk! All guests must be able to walk at least 10km. In addition, the trail maybe muddy and slippery. Do expect some steep trail. Participants must be aged 14+ to participate in this activity.

Kindly be at the meet up location 10 minutes before the scheduled activity time. The guide will be holding X-Trekkers placard at King’s Albert Park MRT Ticket Counter.

16:00 Forest Hike to explore the old abandon Railway track, via muddy terrain and uncleared path
18:00 Hike to explore the abandon old railway bridges
19:00 Drop-off Clementi MRT
